Saturday, June 24 ANNUAL SAND SCULPTURE CONTEST
For a quarter-century, residents and visitors of the Grand Haven area have enjoyed the challenge of building art in the sand by participating in the Sand Sculpture Contest held annually on the last Saturday in June at the Grand Haven City Beach. Groups, families and individuals are judged and awarded prizes after the two-hour time limit to sculpt. Registration is from 9-9:45am and sculpting from 10am-noon with judging to follow. Registration fee is $5 per individual participant and Family/Group of 5 or less $10 which includes a t-shirt. (Family/Group can register for more than 5 for the $10 but only will receive 5 t-shirts with the registration) Additional shirts may be purchased for $5 each.
