The weather is absolutely perfect for the beginning of the 3-day demo castle by the Sons of the Beach. The morning off-shore beach kept red tide irritation to a minimum for much of the day. Later in the day the wind changed direction, tourists cleared the area and smart sculptors donned masks |
| Right: Amazin' Walter works on the "We miss you Brad" wall. Brad Baldwin was a sand sculptor buddy of ours who passed away recently. The Texas State Championship category has been altered this year to include his name in memorial.
